Made in Dagenham nominated for best screenplay, best actress, best supporting actor and best supporting actress

Made in Dagenham, a Nigel Cole film produced by Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley, was nominated for four British Independent Film Awards, it was announced today, Monday 1st November. In a very strong year for British film, Made in Dagenham was nominated for best screenplay for William Ivory, best actress for Sally Hawkins, best supporting actor for Bob Hoskins and best supporting actress for Rosamund Pike.

Made in Dagenham, about the 1968 all female strike for equal pay at the Dagenham Ford factory, opened on October 1st and is still on general release in theatres across the UK.
